Kewell, Grella, Bresciano all missing

Harry Kewell, Vinnie Grella and Mark Bresciano have all withdrawn from Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek's squad to face Qatar at Suncorp Stadium next Wednesday because of injury.

But Queensland Roar captain Craig Moore survived Verbeek's cut this morning.

The Dutchman reduced his mammoth squad to 28 players but said Kewell was still a 10 per cent chance of playing in the World Cup qualifier against the Qataris despite a groin strain .

Shannon Cole, Ante Covic, Matt Simon and Alex Wilkinson also missed out on selection while Carl Valeri is suspended.
